Each year, the Twitter-sphere is taken over by #AskACurator day; an opportunity for anyone to ask questions to curators from leading international museums and cultural institutions.

This year, three of our curators – Roisin Inglesby, George Roberts and Polly Putnam – took part in a live, hour-long Q&A session via Historic Royal Palace’s Twitter account.

Our curators were kept busy, with questions ranging from “how do you become a curator?” to “what is the most remarkable thing you have discovered recently?” The conversation enabled us to share architectural drawings of the Byward and Devereux Towers of the Tower of London.

One follower was particularly interested in learning more about curating at Historic Royal Palaces, which was great to see. Here’s to next year!
